Receivership Information

Status of file (last updated September 14, 2011)

• In June 2011, the Receiver has passed its accounts and received its conditional discharge.  In September 2011, the Receiver completed the administration and filed with the Court a Receiver's Certificate to confirm it had completed its required tasks.  The Receiver now stands discharged and the administration of the receivership is complete.
• As of October 2010, the Receiver has sold both of the Debtor's properties (the Bluebird Motel and the Claresholm Inn) in Court-approved transactions.  The Receiver is now in the process of completing its final accounting and administrative processes and expects to have its accounts taxed and apply for discharge in this matter shortly.
• On January 20, 2009, G. Powroznik Group Inc. was appointed as receiver and manager (the "Receiver") of the assets, undertakings and properties of every nature and kind whatsoever, and wherever situate, including all proceeds thereof of F.A. Millar Investments Ltd. (the "Debtor") by order of the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta
